Crochet Challenge!! Day 6: Least Favorite Hook Size

Today's theme is least favorite crochet hook. My least favorite hook size is a S hook, just because I have not had much excuse to use it. It is the largest hook that I have and I think the largest hook that they sell. Usually if I am doing anything that large I will just finger crochet.

I don't think I've ever actually had a use for this hook, but it is neat to have and show to people.

Crochet Challenge!! Day 5: Favorite Hook Size

I have two favorite hooks, depending on what kind of project I'm doing. My favorite amigurmi hook is a E 3.5mm. It is the standard hook for amigurmi and I've made most of my favorite projects with it. I buy them a couple at a time so that if I lose one I can still use my favorite size. Also I only buy Susan Bates hooks because they are metal, have a great shape, and a great price.

 When I'm working on anything else like a  blanket or scarf, my favorite crochet hook is the H hook. It is the size I learned to crochet with and I got one with a thicker bamboo handle just because I like the size so much.
