Crochet Challenge!! Day 16: Closet Holiday

I started a project at 7:30 hoping I could crochet fast enough to submit for this theme. Unfortunately it is only half done and I have to be up for work in the morning. I'm going to share what I have right now and show the finished product tomorrow.

It is a image of a bat flying in front of the moon made using the corner to corner method. This is my first time using his method and I really like it so far. Halloween is actually my favorite holiday so it's sad that I could make it fast enough to share the whole thing.

If you would like to join the challenge, here is a link to usscrafy's blog:

I Finally Finished My Sister's Wedding Afghan

Finally :) its done after 5 months of on and off work. I'm glad that I finally got to give it to her. The look on her face and the pride off finally finishing it made the time and effort I put into it more than worth it.
I probually will not make another one of these until one of my other siblings anounces their engagement :) but I'd deffinetly do it again for one of them.
That's it for now :) post again soon

Magan's Wedding Blanket

I'm started making my sister Magan a weeding gift before her wedding. It's a blanket with her and her now husband's name and the date of there wedding. This is what it looked like a little while ago.

This is what the chart that I designed looked like

This is what I have finished so far, as of this morning. Unfortunately I ran out of grey yarn this week, but I'm very excited to get back to it, so it should be done soon. =)
