Crocheting Seascape Mostly Put Together

I finished hanging 4 jellyfish and 2 fish yesterday :) I also added one small yellow and pink coral(made by my friend Michelle). To be added still is 1 giant seahorse, 2 more coral, a fish, and a crab. I also have to add a legend to show who made what, but it is mostly done :) I'm so happy with the progress that the crochet club made

Catching Up

Wow guys =) It's been a while. This semester has been crazy semester, but I guess that is the life of an engineering major.

So what's been happening to me...well I started a crochet class/club in the library. We meet once and week and I've taught about 20 people to crochet in the last couple weeks. It's been exciting and a great experience. We are currently working on our end of semester project which is creating a seascape in the library with sea creatures and plants. I made a pattern for some starfish and a pattern for tube coral so far. The exhibit is in about 3 weeks. So I'll post pictures and tell you more about that when that happens.

I also just finished making a movie for Campus Movie Fest. It was a crocheted movie and I pretty much just sat at my desk for a day and videotaped what I did. That video will be on their website in about 2 weeks so I will give a link when I can.

On a similar note I started a youtube channel called, my life with yarn. It doesn't have any videos yet, but I already have ideas for my first 3 and plan to put the up really soon. The planned ones at the moment are   1) the magic circle      2) the granny square     3) starfish. I'm really excited about this and I can't wait to share. You can subscibe now if you want http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqPo7s78YMU. That way you will know the moment I upload a video =)

Well I think that is all for now. I'll post again soon =)
